Our mission is to invest in both youth and women through engaging Art Education and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs that foster self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and essential leadership skills.

Led by CEO and Executive Director Jo Patterson, we provide tailored enrichment experiences that empower children, teens, and women to develop holistic coping tools (an approach that considers the whole person—addressing emotional, social, and cognitive aspects of their development) and strategies for healthy decision-making, conflict resolution, teamwork, and accountability. Our approach encourages exploration, goal-setting, and personal growth, enabling all participants to become confident leaders and positive contributors to their communities.

I’m Jo Patterson, CEO and Executive Director of Epic Domain LLC, where I lead Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) enrichment programs designed for children, teens, and women. As a speaker, conference host, and creative instructor, my approach centers on helping individuals discover and develop their unique gifts, unlocking confidence, resilience, and purpose.
​
My pedagogy blends art, SEL, and 21st-century life skills to nurture the whole person—supporting emotional well-being, leadership, and academic growth. At Epic Domain, we emphasize culturally responsive practices, equitable environments, and holistic support systems that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

Since 2019, I’ve partnered with organizations including Outschool.com, Big Thought, Thriving Minds OST, and Dallas City of Learning, creating enrichment experiences that range from art and STEM workshops to group mentoring and private tutoring. I’ve also designed creative programs for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Bands of Hope, and hosted a teen summer camp at The Epic Recreation Center in Grand Prairie, TX.

Most recently, I served as Program Manager and Events Scheduler at SPARK! Dallas, a children’s museum and immersive art center, where I revitalized youth programming, managed creative activities, and coordinated educational and community events.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission: to nurture creativity, confidence, and inner strength through intentional, impactful learning.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Our goal is to provide children and teens with meaningful opportunities for community service, including volunteering at local food pantries, children's homes, and environmental initiatives aimed at keeping our community clean. They may also assist children with special needs or engage with seniors in retirement communities, offering support and companionship.

As they learn to lead themselves and others toward shared goals, participants will develop the skills to assess their strengths and weaknesses, set personal and professional objectives, and build the confidence and self-esteem necessary to pursue and achieve their aspirations.

Secondary school students are eager to assert their independence and explore their identities. At Epic Domain LLC, we empower them to discover their potential by teaching the importance of self and social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

Our enrichment program equips students to make informed choices, set achievable goals, and enhance their academic performance within a supportive environment.
Epic Domain introduces innovative ideas and opportunities, preparing students for college or vocational training. Additionally, teens will develop essential life skills, including goal-setting and effective time and money management.
